Bespoke Lampshades

Did someone say custom floral lampshades? You can now work with Hal to create a bespoke version of his unglazed stoneware pendants.

Hal's signature red and green tulips have been extremely popular since he begun making them in 2023, but if you prefer geraniums, or pansies, or perhaps even strawberries, now we can work together to create the perfect motifs for your space. 

As an introductory offer, bespoke shades will be the same price as Hal's other shades - £100 off their regular price! 

How it works: After placing an order, please email Hal with "custom shade" and your order number as the subject. In the email body, state the flower/s you would like as well as the colours. The palette in ceramics is limited, so please stick to 2/3 colours. You can have up to 2 varieties of flower making up your design. Hal will respond with a mockup of your shade, at which point you will be able to give feedback, before making the final piece begins.

These shades are handpainted with a matching design inside and out and measure approximately 25 cm in width. Making times for these vary but they can take a couple of months as everything is made from start to finish by Hal in his studio in East Sussex.

This is a shade only with no electrical elements, not a complete light fitting. Each shade comes with a brass ring (see photo) which the shade will sit on once screwed into the fitting, you may require a new fitting if you live outside of the UK.
